• PALAWAN ISLAND

Palawan is the westernmost island of the country and one of the favorite places for Filipinos to go on holiday because of the amount of options it offers. Spend a day snorkeling at Honda Bay and explore the Underground River (one of the seven wonders of the natural world since 2011) at Puerto Princesa.

• CORON ISLAND

North from Palawan, Coron Island is one of the best options for diving because there you can see countless species of fish and coral, and may even witness the famous whale shark.

• BOHOL ISLAND

Frequently called the jewel of the Philippines, Bohol Island fits perfect with nature lovers as well as adventurers. In the coast you can find marvelous beaches like in the rest of the country; but inland there is a rich and unique biodiversity that deserves to be discovered, including the “Chocolate Hills” and the Tarsier, one of the smallest primates in the world.

If you want to party go during the high season between March and May; otherwise, if you want to avoid the crowds visit Boracay around June - September.

One of the most unexplored destinations by tourists, Siquijor is popularly known for traditional folk healing and bewitching myths of sorcery. Besides, Siquijor offers some of the most tempting beaches of the country.

• CAMIGUIN

A pear-shaped island called by locals the Garden of Eden, Camiguin is an island made by volcano activity. Mount Hibock, the only active volcano of the island, shows a natural spectacle with steam soaring from its plenty of vents.

• CORREGIDOR ISLAND

An historical place located at the southwestern part of Luzon Islands. Corregidor was the place for battles between Filipino, Japanese and American troops during the World War II. Also, it is a fantastic place for bird-watching and having a scenic boat ride.

• MALAPASCUA ISLAND

A charming island where you will be able to see and even get close to many species of sharks, such as tiger sharks, whale sharks and hammer-head sharks. Giant manta rays and turtles can also be spotted.
