IT Assistant - Covered

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent; 44 hours per week, Mon –Fri 11am to 7pm or 9am to 5pm, and alternate Saturday, 9am- 5pm with the 6 months of probation period 
Start date: ASAP
Location: London Head Office 
Position reports to: UK IT Supervisor 

Job purpose summary:

Small World Financial Services is looking for a profile of IT helpdesk, who will be based in our head office in London, and part of the IT group department. The person will be responsible for all items related to PC (security, IT policy, installation, inventory and more on) in the head office and also in our branches in the UK (PC, routers, printers, scanners...). The person will also responsible for all other issues related to front-end service.

The responsible person is required to travel to all our UK branches on a regular basis. He or she can claim travel expenses under the company’s expenses policy. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide a full IT support service to all users
  •  Installation, configuration and support of different operating system: windows XP, windows 7, Linux, Windows server and more on...
  • Knowledge of network: TCP / DHCP
  •  System: active directory management
  •  Fulfil customer needs and requirements in collaboration with other departments

Essential work skills:

  •  Minimum 1-year knowledge of IT expected and demonstrable
  •  Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  •  Always deliver a high level of customer service
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of the team
  •  Work calmly under pressure
  •  Being attentive and patient
  •  Good in numeracy skill
