The primary purpose of the Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Manager is to live and breathe user experience and deliver a step change in the registration and conversion rates on our digital platforms. We want Small World online to be the easiest and simplest money transfer operator to deal with.

Role Responsibilities

Own the conversion rate metrics across the business (soft registration, hard registration, 1st transfer, member get member take-up) 

Track and interpret user behaviour across devices (mobile, desktop, apps)

Constantly seek new conversion opportunities to enhance commercial returns

Strong grasp of ROI with an analytical mind to mine data for insights and generate hypothesis for constant and fast iteration testing

Set-up and run an A/B and MVT split test across multiple journeys and web pages

Work with Product Development, UX, SEO, Marketing and Content teams to identify and prioritise enhancements to the user experience across devices

Identify and test new technologies / practices to improve conversion rates. and customer engagement

Feed insight into the commercial, acquisition and retention marketing functions to improve promotions and drive performance further

Develop a weekly / monthly reporting pack to demonstrate the impact CRO is having on performance

Person Specification

5-6 years in CRO preferably with in Finance / Retail / Travel / Gaming

Excellent knowledge of how to set-up and deliver CRO programs (A/B testing, MVT)

Expert user of analytics tools, including Google Analytics suite (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, Google Data Studio) and other customer experience platforms (e.g. Content Square)

Familiar with research tools such as HotJar, CrazyEgg, Zarget or equivalent

Strong customer focus, a real passion for creating great user experiences

Able to demonstrate creativity and innovation, bringing new ideas

Essential skills

An analytical and commercial approach to driving CRO performance

Data driven to make the right decisions, quickly

Results oriented, likes making change happen

Team-player with excellent relationship-building and communication skills 

Strong written / presentation skills to demonstrate improvements

Familiar with best practices for UI and UX for landing pages, applications, mobile, and desktop
